ACS Doha students get to grips with entrepreneurial values at QBIC
Students from ACS Doha attended a special two-hour event providing them an opportunity to learn about the process and steps required to become a promising entrepreneur. QBIC is the largest mixed-use business incubation center in the MENA Region, providing support services, workspace, and assistance with funding to entrepreneurs and companies who have an idea to start a business and empowering them to pursue their journey of success. Renowned political commentator, David Aaronovitch, gives Brexit talk at ACS Egham
A special talk given by David Aaronovitch, the Author, broadcaster and political journalist, was given at ACS Egham as part of the school's 'World Beyond The Classroom' seminar series. He spoke about how Brexit will shape the UK and what it means for the country’s next generation of voters. Aaronovitch urged the younger population to demand a second Brexit referendum, as they will be the generation most impacted by leaving the EU. Full details can be seen here.
'Inventions that changed the World' theme sparks imaginations at ACS Cobham
Students at ACS Cobham, aged 10 to 11, spent six weeks exploring ‘inventions that have changed the world’ in a cross-curricular project designed to bring out the inventor in everyone. The process included exploring the purpose and reasoning behind 98 different life-changing inventions including the microscope, pencil, defibrillator and television.

The activity culminated with an Invention Expo Evening at ACS Cobham – showcasing the students’ invention projects to parents.
