A LANDMARK CELEBRATION
ACS Cobham's Largest-Ever Graduating Class
On Friday 30 May, our ACS Cobham community came together to mark a significant milestone in our school’s history – the graduation of our largest-ever cohort of 185 students. This year's graduation ceremony honoured not only academic success, but the personal growth, resilience, and international spirit of the Class of 2025.
The ceremony is a highlight in our school calendar, offering a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate the achievements of Grade 12 students as they prepare to embark on exciting new journeys. It featured an inspiring keynote address from Ed Jackson, former professional rugby player and Channel 4 presenter, who shared his powerful message about building resilience in everyday life – an especially meaningful theme for today’s young adults.
Huge congratulations to the Class of 2025 – the largest graduating cohort in ACS Cobham’s history! This milestone is not only a testament to the incredible talents of our students, but also a powerful reflection of the growing trust that families from around the world place in an ACS Cobham education. It has been a real privilege to see this fantastic group of students grow into well-rounded, internationally minded, intelligent, and resilient young people.
Two student speakers, Woodrow M-N and Carter W, also took to the stage, offering heartfelt reflections on their experiences at ACS and their hopes for the future. Their words resonated deeply with all of us, capturing both the spirit of the graduating class and the unique journey they’ve shared.
As diplomas were awarded, several students were also recognised with senior academic awards:
VALEDICTORIAN: Charlotte H received the top honour for achieving the highest academic average and received an offer to study at the London School of Economics (LSE).
SALUTATORIAN: Charlotte L was recognised for achieving the second highest academic average and received an offer to study Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at Cambridge.
FOUNDERS’ AWARD: Ben B received this prestigious award for his outstanding academic performance, leadership, and commitment to extracurricular involvement. Ben will be continuing his education at Oxford University to study Law.
As the Class of 2025 takes its next steps – into universities, gap years, apprenticeships, and adventures around the world – they carry with them not only the knowledge and skills gained at ACS Cobham, but also friendships, memories, and values that will last a lifetime.
We wish each and every one of our graduates the very best as they begin the next exciting chapter of their lives. You’ve made ACS Cobham proud!
Each and every student in this year group has demonstrated incredible dedication and drive. I’m confident they will go on to achieve great things and make a positive impact wherever life takes them.
Being part of the ACS Cobham community has shaped who I am today. I'm incredibly grateful for the support of my teachers and friends, and I'm excited to take everything I've learned here into the next chapter of my life.
