Graduation
Congratulations to the Class of 2024!
On Friday 24 May 2024, we bid farewell to the Class of 2024 with our annual graduation ceremony.
Ahead of students receiving their exam results in July, the graduation saw faculty, family, and friends congratulate the departing student cohort, representing over 30 nationalities, as they approach the end of their time at ACS Egham and move on to their next journey.
Congratulations to this year’s graduates! After seeing them work hard at every turn, culminating the school year in celebration is a proud moment for all of us at ACS Egham. As students move on to new opportunities, there is no doubt that they will take the resilience and dedication they have learned with them into the future. We cannot wait to see what impact on the world they will have.
As part of the ceremony, students gathered to hear reflections from their peers and guest speakers, alongside musical performances. ACS Egham recognised the impressive achievements of notable students with awards, including the Leadership Award and the Valedictorian awarded to Lucy S. and Sofia P. respectively.
The Founders’ Award, which is presented to the graduating student who has demonstrated excellent academic achievement, consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities and school life, service to others, and school leadership, was awarded to Sofia P.
Today we have gathered to celebrate the exciting new changes and opportunities we all are about to experience. First, I would like to congratulate each and every single one of you for reaching this momentous occasion. I am honoured to say I am a part of the graduating class of 2024 of ACS Egham. With this Grade 12 I have had incredible moments filled with laughs, discussions and support.”
Our graduates depart as independent thinkers, ready for what the future holds. 65% of the Class of 2024 will be attending prestigious universities in the UK such as UCL, Imperial College, King’s College, Bath and Edinburgh. We wish all of our graduates the best in their next adventure.
