Graduation
Congratulations to the Class of 2024!
On Friday 31 May 2024, we bid farewell to the Class of 2024 with our annual graduation ceremony.
As part of the ceremony, students gathered to hear reflections from their peers and guest speakers, alongside musical performances. ACS Hillingdon recognised the impressive achievements of notable students, including the Valedictorian award which was presented to Amelia H and Nicholas F.
The Founders’ Award, which is presented to the graduating student who has demonstrated excellent academic achievement, consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities and school life, service to others, and school leadership, was awarded to Beatrice D.
While a number of graduates will go on to universities and colleges in the US and around the world, 55% of ACS Hillingdon’s Class of 2024 will stay in the UK. Some students go on to range of institutions, such as Warwick, York, Imperial College, Loughborough, Sussex and Kings College London. Our graduates depart as independent thinkers, ready for what the future holds.
Congratulations to all of our graduating students. It has been inspiring to see the development of such an impressive, diverse group of individuals with remarkable talents and I’m delighted that as a school, we’re able to acknowledge their hard work and give them the farewell that they deserve. As they head into new opportunities, whether that be the world of work or further education, we cannot wait to see how they utilise the knowledge and experience they have gained here to make their impact on the world.
